DESCRIPTION
PSSC has been promoted by Ministry of Power through Central Electrical Authority (CEA) alongwith Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) and Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers’ Association (IEEMA). The Governing Body of PSSC is chaired by Chairperson, CEA as President and has representation from across the Power Sector covering Generation, Transmission, Distribution, Renewable Energy and Equipment Manufacturing. This is a completely industry and employer driven initiative designed to help them with improved availability of readily employable and skilled workforce through a robust process of development of National Occupational Standards (NOS), skill based training and finally its assessment and certification
