Healthcare

Enriching the Lives of the Marginalised Communities of India through Quality Education, Skill development,
Livelihood generation, Healthcare, Environment safety, Disaster response and Agriculture Initiatives

Community involvement can range from asking local people to fill in a questionnaire, to local people setting up and running a project themselves, with little help from any other quarter. The community is involved practically in every activity. This is facilitated by conducting various events where the community participates actively. Formation of a Grama Vikas Samiti is the first step.

GVS

The GVS comprises of nine members and their nine alternatives. All members are appointed through a nomination process. The nomination is done by a Gram Sabha organised by the Organisation representatives.

Our GVSs are responsible for helping, developing and continuously refining the Village Vision, recommending and initiating new programmes and monitoring the ongoing programmes.

Some ways by which a community can contribute towards its own welfare are:

» Providing effective leadership
» Donating labour
» Donating financial and physical resources
» Tapping their individual and collective social capital for developmental initiatives
